Ok so it's been awhile sine I've done a review but I'm back. Okay so this book was written by James Patterson. I love this series I started in 6th grade and now have fininshed in eighth due to the last book not out yet. I was really sad that it was the last book. When I first saw that it was out I told my brother it was out and he bought it on his kindle and I read it. To be honest I read it till like 1 AM. It was that good. Ok now to the book. I was horrified when they couldn't find Angel at the end of well Angel. (Angel is the name of the second to last book) Fang and his gang split up and I was wondering where Jeb, Max's mom, and Ella were. That was all revealed. I was horrified when I figured out that they were experimenting on Angel at the school. I am not sure whether or not she is still blind but whatever. Max with her jumbled up feelings. Ok let's get this straight. For about the first 6 books I loved Fang I really wanted him and Max together. But then Dylan showed up. In book 7 I hated him but in book 8 I fell in love with Dylan. I really wanted Max to love him too but her stupid confused heart chose stupid Fang. Yeah sorry major Spoiler alert. Too late. You already read it. There is no going back. Moving on. That just about ruined the whole book for me. I almost cried and I never cry. James Patterson I am very angry with you. I am contemplating sending you a strongly worded letter.
My rating 4.3 of 5 because of the ending!

Catching Fire
Written by Suzanne Collins
I love the first book and the whole series.
When I finished The Hunger Games I wondered what would the second book be about? I mean she was already in the Hunger Games what could possibly happen. Well firstly, Gale happened. That whole part with Gale was super confusing and sometimes aggravating. I am team Peeta. I like Peeta better and even though in the movie Gale/Liam Hemsworth was totally hot (and so was Peeta) Peeta is more likable. So the whole Gale kissed me, I don't know what to do! was annoying. The beginning of the book, the first chapter, was slow and boring for me but only because it was the first chapter then something I didn't expect happens. President Snow is at Katniss's house. Now that part was interesting. Then when Gale was whipped it was like WHAT THE CRAP JUST HAPPENED! Then the real shocker, The Quarter Quell. When I first read that I was like WHAT!? Then Peeta saying that Katniss was pregnant was shocking I'm like WHAT!? Is he for reals or is he joking? The whole arena part was just awesome so no negative words for that and the end was perfecto! BESIDES THE FACT THAT PEETA WASN'T THERE!
My rating is 4.89 out of 5! It was amazing!

The Host
Written by Stephenie Meyer.
This book was very good. I found myself not putting it down and finished it within a week. I loved the idea of people living in hiding from aliens. I was very conflicted about which I liked better Melanie or Wanderer. By the way I hate the name Wanda for her. In my mind I was shouting at Jared a lot for calling her "it". I was in love with Jamie. After Wanderer was accepted I was very happy but I couldn't decide which I liked better Jared or Ian. Ian was super protective and so was Jared but so no one would hurt Mel but Ian was about Wanderer. I was starting to like Jared better when they went to get the medicine for Jamie.I was super mad when Wanderer decided she was going to give up her body for Melanie. Even though that's what is for the best. I hated it like Ian, that Wanderer only cared for others and wasn't thinking about herself. The ending was touching. I almost cried and I don't do that much.
I give it 4.75 out of 5

New & Improved
Okay I had a blog idea before this and it was super stupid. So I'm going to post my reviews on books that I have read. Bear with me. (I don't know if that's how you use that version of bear in this instance)
The Hunger Games

Okay first off I would like to say..... LOVE THESE BOOKS! Okay I'm good.
Okay first off I would like to say..... LOVE THESE BOOKS! Okay I'm good.
I enjoyed the book. I read it twice. I liked how it began the descriptive words were spot on. I wish the book would have talked more about her deceased father. Even though it wouldn't have contributed to the plot I just wished that it was in there. The concept of a government taking children and leaving them in an arena to fight to the death is a little actually very scary and also unique. I love how the government came to that decision because of a revolt and they "obliterated" District 13. Decreeing that the Hunger Games be a tradition. The captitol is a fancy place where everything is expensive looking and the people, I believe are sheltered and don't know what is happening in all of the districts and don't realize how lucky they are to live in the capitol. In the story I belive the real bad guy is President Snow. I hate that guy. I think that Rue's story was the real downer in the story. Rue was like Primrose to Katniss. I love the romance between Peeta and Katniss. The story about when Peeta threw the semi-burnt bread to Katniss when she was hungry was precious.
Overall I give it 4.99 out of 5 stars (I would give it 5 but the tiny thing about the dad just put it down .01)
